This mixed-media suite of compositions represents the internal conflict to expose the true self. These blind-contour portraits capture the raw, emotional identity of their subjects through line and collage elements. From cigarettes and styrofoam to cardboard and glitter, this work pushes the boundaries of what is seen in relation to emotions. The images contain layers that invite the viewer to visually peel the mask back and go on a psychological journey.
